Dr. Joe LeMaster

Welcome from the Pastor

Thank you for visiting our website. I am the founding Pastor of the Family Of God (FOG) Ministries. Within this website you will be able to listen to past teachings, read about our Church’s history, send me an email and find upcoming events.

We invite you to come and worship or study with us. Our Sunday worship service is held Sunday mornings at 9AM. Due to the extreme costs of supplying heat and air conditioning to the building, we hold most meetings at my house (603 S. High St., Arcanum). Pastor’s Bible study is held at 7PM on Wednesday evenings. The various Board meetings are also held normally at my house.

You might be wondering about our beliefs. Our Preamble to our Constitution & By-Laws read:

“We rest in our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, for our salvation and believe in the teachings and practices of the Holy Scriptures as our sole and perfect rule for faith and practice. We, therefore, join ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus, our Savior, and adopt for our government and plan of worship and service the following Constitution & By-Laws.”

The purpose of our Church is:

1.  The worship of Almighty God. (Love the LORD with all your heart.)
2.  The preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, unto salvation of the lost. (Baptism)
3.  The Scriptural teaching and guidance of believers to develop traits
consistent with those displayed by Christ Himself. (Discipleship)
4.  The promotion and support of missionary enterprises at home and abroad.
(Love your neighbor as yourself.  Ministry/ Evangelism)
5.  The practice of the Great Commission as directed by Jesus in the Gospel
of Matthew 28: 19 – 20. (Evangelism)

Our Covenant:

“We acknowledge Jesus Christ, to be our Savior and Lord. We accept the Holy Scriptures as our rule of faith and practice, while recognizing the privilege and duty to unite ourselves for Christian fellowship, the enjoyment of Christian Sacraments, the public worship of God, and the advancement of His Church on earth. We do now, in the sight of God, by invoking His blessing, solemnly covenant and agree with each other to associate ourselves as a Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, as warranted by the Word of God.”

We are a non/inter-denominational body of believers. It is essential for believers to attend worship service. Hebrews 10: 24-25 tells us, “ And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” It is our duty to assemble with like believers!
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the inerrancy of the Bible. If you are interested in learning more, the next step is yours. See you in Church!

In Christ,
Pastor Joe
